Apex Supports STEM Education Through Sponsorships

Apex International, global manufacturer of anilox and embossing roll solutions, has announced its sponsorship of WQED’s Inquire Within educational TV programs. This year-long program is a collaboration between the WQED TV Network and multiple community organizations, to bring at-home education to under-served families.

Started more than a decade ago, the Inquire Within show is reportedly one of WQED’s most well-established programs aired throughout southwestern Pennsylvania, eastern Ohio, northern West Virginia, and western Maryland.

The local TV show features out-of-school programming designed to encourage family engagement and the love-of-learning through hands-on activities. In partnership with 34 neighborhood libraries, Inquire Within provides a supportive, community-focused library network with access to PBS Kids educational resources focused on science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM), early literacy skills, and social-emotional learning (SEL).

With qualitative and quantitative measures of success, the WQED team continually builds its program to increase community impact and comprehension each year.

Apex International has 11,000+ clients located in more than 110 countries, operating seven manufacturing facilities around the globe.
