AWA Releases Updated Report On Release Liner Market

The demand for release liners in a wide range of applications has led to the release of an updated AWA report offering comprehensive and expanded market coverage.

Overall, worldwide annual market growth in 2022 was estimated to be 2.1 percent. Going into 2023, AWA forecasts a growth of 2.6 percent. The release liner market saw a significant downturn in the second half of 2022 and the start of 2023.

While the pressure sensitive labelstock segment continues to be the largest, with a 48 percent share of the market worldwide — and forecast growth at 2.7 percent per annum — other segments, benefiting from the release liner as a carrier for adhesive coatings or other substances, continue to grow, driving the overall growth of the global release liner market to 2.1 percent in 2022.

Faster-growing markets like tapes, medical, and electronics, and other application segments such as graphic films, food & bakery, and envelopes are detailed, providing in-depth analysis in more than 400 pages of data, information, and insights.

The new edition of the AWA Global Release Liner Annual Review 2023 covers all aspects of the market by geographical region and sub-region, substrate, application segments, trends, developments, and growth drivers, including more analysis on silicone usage and more granularity on applications segments.
