Baldwin Technology Launches Print Inspection System

Baldwin has launched the Guardian PQV 4.0 inspection system. The technology is now upgraded with advanced automation, micrometer inspection precision and its new Wizard-iQ Interface.

Building on the Guardian PQV 3.0, the new system reportedly offers three substantial upgrades to enable operators — through the simplified access to newly automated advanced and powerful features – to enhance efficiency, and boost productivity.

Wizard-iQ can set up a repeatable process with a few simple clicks, lowering the barrier of entry for new employees, according to the company

PQV 4.0 offers automated-Delta-E color monitoring, barcode recognition and sensitivity and lighting presets, taking the legwork out of automation setups.

PQV 4.0 boasts micrometer inspection precision, and camera systems that offer both single- and dual-sided 100 percent print quality inspection for any application.
