Eco Flexibles, a Daventry, UK-based sustainable flexible packaging business, has completed a recent Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) Chain of Custody audit.
The results of the audit show zero instances of non-conformance in its recyclable paper and fibre supply chain, reportedly the highest standard achievable.
FSC is an independent organization established to support environmentally appropriate, socially beneficial and economically viable management of the world’s forests.
The Chain of Custody path documents the journey taken by material substrates in the packaging industry, and includes each stage of sourcing, processing, trading and distribution.
Achieving zero instances of non-conformance shows that the company’s systems and processes for sourcing, tracking and labeling its products are in compliance with FSC standards.
