Flexo Wash, Mike Potter Celebrate 20 Years

Flexo Wash and Mike Potter recently celebrated 20 years in business as the Northern American distributor for Flexo Wash ApS, an international company based in Denmark.

Headquartered in Louisville, Kentucky, Mike Potter established Flexo Wash LLC in August 2002 to provide Flexo Wash cleaning solutions in North America for the flexographic, offset and gravure package printing industries.

Starting with just three employees, Flexo Wash now has more than 20 employees, with representatives in the United States, Mexico and Canada. Flexo Wash is a family-owned business, with Mike Potter acting as the Chairman, his son Patrick is the President and his son Ryan is the Vice President of Sales.

After 20 years, Flexo Wash now has more than 1,200 machines in 700 facilities across North America. The secret to success, according to Mike Potter, is simple: “We sell equipment, but we are in the service business.”

Flexo Wash products will reportedly extend the life of anilox rolls and sleeves, gravure cylinders, flexo plates, flexo plate sleeves, press parts and rotary screens, while decreasing the make-ready down time between job runs.
