FTA Announces Technical Innovation Award Recipients

FTA announced two recipients of a 2022 FTA Technical Innovation Award, which recognizes trailblazers making an impact on the package printing and converting industry. The award-winning technologies were named on Sunday, March 13 during the Awards Banquet at FORUM 2022, FTA’s annual four-day technical conference.

The companies receiving a 2022 Technical Innovation Award, and their technologies, are:

  • DuPont™ Cyrel® Solutions, for its Cyrel Lightning Plates, flexographic plates designed to increase efficiency on high-end and high-cost LED exposure units while matching or exceeding the quality of longer exposure times (Prepress Graphics Category)
  • SOMA spol sro, for its SOMA Changeover Wizard, a flexographic press user interface that guides the press operator throughout a job to optimize the process and minimize operator error (Heavy Metal Category)
