FTA Names Technical Innovation Award

FTA has recognized three industry-advancing products and the companies behind them with the 2023 FTA Technical Innovation Award.

The trio of companies and their award-winning technologies are:

• AV Flexologic, for its RoboCELL Sleeve and Mounting Workflow, which automates manual processes, eliminates operator dependency and reduces prepress-related downtime (Heavy Metal category).

• MicroDynamics, for its 3DQC Veritas Anilox Inspection System, which can make measurements and provide characteristic parameter values for a picture of an anilox’s state (Prepress Pressroom category).

• Miraclon, for its PureFlexo Printing Plate Surface Patterning, which reduces common issues like dirty print, dot bridging and color inconsistency (Prepress Graphics category).
