Meyers Purchases Fourth MPS EF Flexo Press

Minneapolis, Minnesota, packaging and label printer Meyers has invested in its fourth MPS Systems press, a 530mm, 10-color EF flexo press, equipped with GEW AeroLED UV curing and AVT Helios inspection system.

MPS claims that by utilising IoT, the EF press helps customers optimize production by identifying possible bottlenecks and automatically suggesting areas for improvement.

The partnership between the printer and MPS dates back to 2008 with the installation of Meyers’ first MPS press.

In 2017, Meyers became the first printer in North America to purchase an EF SYMJET hybrid press combining the automated MPS EF platform and the Domino N610i 7-colour digital UV inkjet label press.

Founded in 1949, Meyers is a print manufacturer specializing in packaging, label, and retail display.
