UPM Raflatac’s RafCycle Wins Sustainability Award

UPM Raflatac’s RafCycle recycling service has won a silver Sustainable Packaging Design of the Year 2023 award at the Australasian Packaging Innovation & Design (PIDA) Awards. 

The announcement came on Tuesday, March 28, at the PIDA Awards Gala Dinner.

Coordinated by the Australian Institute of Packaging (AIP), the PIDA awards are designed to recognize companies and individuals who are making a significant difference in their field across Australia and New Zealand.

By collecting and recycling the release liner waste through RafCycle, companies can reportedly close the recycling loop and support circular economy.
