Building on its mission to accelerate the transition to more sustainable plastics and packaging, material sciences company VOID Technologies, Neenah, Wisconsin, has appointed Dr. Barry A. Morris as Chief Technology Advisor.
In this newly created role, Morris will provide strategic guidance, mentorship and business development support for VOID.
Morris will oversee further development of the company’s VO+ cavitation technology, which is said to enable the production of high-performance PE films with 35 percent less plastic, opacity without TiO2 and improved recyclability.
Morris holds 12 U.S. patents and has written for more than 125 publications, including his recently published 2nd edition to his book, ‘The science and technology of flexible packaging’.
